Three new, flexible office buildings are to be constructed on a centrally located plot in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg on behalf cds Wohnbau. planquadrat is planning a five-storey new building plus penthouse level that finishes off the existing block and at the same time forms a suitable overture to the district. With a vertically structured facade comprising brickwork or natural stone elements and colourful plaster surfaces, the elongated, street-side facade is given a lively structure and guarantees a clear readability of the entrances. The building is given a further segmenting through the optical pooling of two stories each. The central foyers on the ground floor and the various office units are accessed via the three entrances.
