Executive Directors
Uwe Ritter, our authorized signatory and managing director, has contributed valuable experience to our team since 2001 and plays a key role in structuring tasks and processes.
Since October 2025, Steffen Baumgärtner, Franciska Bösz, Hannah Geskes, Constanze Gräff, and Matthias Wöber, Head of Urban Development and Urban Land-Use Planning, have also been members of the management team.
Holger Grobe
Frankfurt Office Management
The Frankfurt office of planquadrat is managed by Julia Goldschmidt, Holger Grobe and Markus Gruber, who are also active in project management with their extensive experience. Together with their team, they develop innovative architecture and urban planning projects. The “PQ-Atelier” is the creative workshop for competitions and studies. The central location in Frankfurt allows planquadrat to work closely with local and international clients and to benefit from the dynamism of the city.

Matthias Niemeyer
Nuremberg Office Management
Sophie Bermüller and Matthias Niemeyer manage the Nuremberg office of planquadrat as authorized signatories. The two combine years of experience in innovative urban development and sustainable architecture. The Nuremberg office was created through the merger of Bermüller + Niemeyer Architekturwerkstatt and planquadrat in 2025, which specifically expanded planquadrat's nationwide architectural expertise.

Berlin Office Management
Our third subsidiary besides Darmstadt and Frankfurt was opened in Berlin 2018. Franciska Bösz is leading the young, dynamic team in the capital that faces the planning challenges with passion, expertise and that certain big city spirit. This location brings the necessary proximity to projects and to clients - especially in the north of the country - which we also need from an ecological and sustainable viewpoint. Since 2025, Collignon Architektur has also been part of our Berlin history. Through this partnership, planquadrat and Collignon Architektur are combining their strengths to set new trends and grow in a future-oriented way.
