The new building replaces the old buildings located in the town centre, which no longer fulfil the usage requirements. On the one hand the existing site development of the premises was to be centralised with the entrance of the new administration building to create centralised access control. On the other hand a direct connection of the new building with the printing complex was necessary. This resulted in the construction of the narrow entrance area as well as a new complete image of the newspaper. The special aspect of the building concept lies in the dual system, which is open and shifted against each other. This resulted in a prestigious entrance hall over several levels in the centre.
