Student hall of residence with 181 residential units, communal rooms and an underground car park
At the location of a unbuilt office building, a six-storey student hall of residence was built with a total of 181 residential units. The building is directly located at Westbahnhof Frankfurt and is directly adjacent to the 7-storey administration building (eco house). The elongated structure is divided into two structures through framing the balconies and the different colouring. Red sliding elements on the balconies give a colour slant. All residential units have a washroom, a cooking zone, a balcony resp. a terrace and can be reached barrier-free. Besides the residential units there is a communal room on each floor. On the 5th floor the residents also have a spacious roof terrace at their disposal that can be used for communal events. Access is possible through a double-wing centre aisle that was arranged on each floor in a different colour. All levels as well as the underground car park can be reached through the elevators.
