Cubes – Living by the Orchards

Four tower blocks with 31 high-quality condominiums and generous outdoor spaces have been built in Bad Nauheim in a central location, yet nestled in the green surroundings. The four-storey solitary buildings with their varied combination of clinker brick and rendered surfaces are emphasised at selected block corners by balconies with golden expanded metal. They are arranged like windmills on the plot, creating generous views from the residential courtyards into the neighbourhood. At the same time, a central and communicative residential path is created to provide pedestrian access to all the houses. The flats have clearly structured utilisation areas: the living area opens up to the south-west with a spacious balcony or roof terrace, while the bedrooms are located on the side facing away from the sun. The group of buildings is connected by a shared underground car park.

In the immediate neighbourhood, 10 two-storey terraced houses with staggered storeys were built, embedded in a small-scale development structure. The high-quality new buildings offer space for different types of housing and create a special local recreational value thanks to their spacious gardens.
