In Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf, planquadrat is realizing a young, lively and green residential quarter on a former factory site. The 51 residential units are planned as individual detached houses, which are combined to form semi-detached, terraced and townhouses. In addition to the private open spaces of the individual houses, the quarter is characterized by high-quality, communal outdoor areas. The access road, flanked by an avenue of trees, is planned as a play street with permeable paving and widens out several times into small neighbourhood squares.

A four-storey building block with townhouses is planned along the adjacent railroad embankment, which is adjoined by an allotment garden area. This building structure protects the neighbourhood from the noise of the S-Bahn and at the same time offers the residents quiet outdoor areas with spacious roof terraces facing the neighbourhood and terraces facing the allotment gardens. Terraced houses are planned for the interior of the quarter, while the semi-detached houses are located in the attractive peripheral areas.
