Glass makers' quarter Düsselpark

CONSULTATION MASTER PLAN, ZONING PLAN WITH EXAMPLE PLANS OF BUILDING TYPES  

After 2005 the Gerresheim glass factory was closed in 2005, an urban rearrangement of the former plant site and the bordering areas became necessary. An urban quarter with different apartment types as well as commercial, service and retail offers were developed for this area. A master plan was developed with intensive civilian involvement where planquadrat played a consultancy role. On this basis planquadrat developed a zoning plan with example plans of building types.
