A new building complex is being constructed on a former completely sealed off site of a small local supplier with a large car park area, clarifying the urban heterogenous situation and creating high-quality living space. With two five-storey structures that form a group around an urban interior courtyard together with a connecting structure, the new building creates space for attractive, urban living and a ground level day-care facility for children with a parents’ café and offices. The day-care facility for children faces a quiet interior courtyard and offers space for 99 children aged between 1 and 6 years of age. The apartments can be accessed through two separate entrances, each with its own balcony. Along with private roof gardens on the green roof areas there are also communicative open spaces with wide-ranging views. The housing offer comprises 171 one to two room apartments with areas between 22 and 60 square metres. In addition, a two-storey underground car park was designed with 89 car parking spaces and 195 bicycle spaces.
