The legal foundations of data protection can be found in Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Telemedia Act (TMG).

ACCESS DATA/ Server Log files

The provider (resp. its webspace provider) collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of the retrieval, transmitted volume of data, notification on successful retrieval, browser type along with version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider.  

The provider only uses the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the business, security and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider retains the right to review the log data at a later stage if a justified suspicion of illegal use exists based on concrete evidence.


Personal data refers to information that enables a person to be identified, i.e. data that can trace a person. This includes the name, the email address or the telephone number. But also data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites are viewed count among personal data.

Personal data is only then collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is legally permitted or the users consent to the data collection.

When contacting the provider (for example through contact form or email), the user's data is stored with the purpose of processing the inquiry as well as in case that follow-up questions arise.


Cookies are small files that enable specific information referring to the device to be stored on the user's access device (PC, smart phone or the like). On the one hand they serve the purpose of user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storing log in data). On the other hand they serve the purpose of recording statistical data of the website use and being able to analyse it with the purpose of improving the offer. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the user convenience are restricted without cookies.  


The user has the right to receive information free of charge upon application on the personal data stored about him/her. In addition, the user has the right to have incorrect data corrected, personal data blocked and deleted providing no legal retention obligation to the contrary exists.
